What is Attention?



It refers to the attitude of readiness for action to be performed by both the teacher and students in the classroom; in addition, it gives emphasis to the importance of a mental act or concentration of the mind’s energy on an object or thought wherein the participants are directly involved and they are ready to perform or answer the questions with ease and freedom.

    The mental faculty of considering or taking notice of someone or something: "he turned his attention to the educational system".

    Attention is based on the mental capacity of a student or a person. It is on how he\she immerse the discussion and on how he\she focuses his\her attention during the discussion.

    attention is the cognitive process of selectively concentrating on one aspect of the environment while ignoring other things. Attention has also been referred to as the allocation of processing resources.
