This is the reaction or technical analysis of the chosen stories that I liked most

Home Reading Report Posted by Theresa Ilustrisimo

I. Overview

   1. What is Denouement?
It is the resulting outcome of the events and problems, throughout the entire story. This means that it tells about the problem of the story by resolving it.
   2. What is Literature?
For me, this article is very interesting. It is a soul–replica that helps strengthen the readers’ commitment to develop themselves by embracing international ideals of values system, etc.
   3. Many nights thinking about you (article 1)
This is the article that I liked most. The more you have the experience, the more you can share it with others.
   4. If a teen gets his girlfriend pregnant… (article 2)
There are a lot of persons in this world who have encountered or  experienced this kind of situation as far as pregnancy problems are concerned. In a family, the father’s responsibility is to assure the welfare of his family by providing whatever it takes to reach the peak of success.
   5. What is Technical Analysis?
“Thinking comes before doing.” For me, the technical analysis points out to thinking in a conditioned pattern analyzing comprehensively the uses and functions of the plotted parts of the story.
   6. What is personification?
When I encounter this kind of word personification, I directly point out that it is related to a person. It is a figure of speech in which an inanimate object or one of the lower animals is spoken of or given abilities as it were really a person.
   7. What is Abstract?
In my own understanding, it is not fully clarified but when I read the article, I know that it is a shortened version of a longer piece of writing that highlights the major points that covered briefly and depicted the content and scope of writing.
   8. How do we distinguish personification from derivation?
To distinguish the differences of the two, the author used it in a contrast manner. Personification tells about an inanimate object while derivation indicates the source of a word where it came from...called etymology.

II. Introduction

   1. What is Denouement?
It refers to the events following the climax of a drama or novel in which such a resolution or clarification happens.
   2. What is Literature?
a. It comes from diverse view points, definitions and uses of it and it comes up also with a unified “connotative meaning” that literature is something that reflects society.
   3. Many nights thinking about you (article 1)
       a. My eyes were used to the darkness. I was living before and I was almost blinded by the new scenery that I really saw.
   4. If a teen gets his girlfriend pregnant
       a. The responsibility of the children is to honor and make them proud of their mother and father as their parents.
   5. What is Technical Analysis?
       a. It is the study of literary charts and indicators to determine the progress and chronological order of the story within the use of plotted schema and techniques to examine various aspects of literary levels of interpretation.
   6. What is personification?
       a. It describes intelligence or emotion to abstract, notions or inanimate things to make the situation alive and kicking.
   7. What is Abstract?
       a. It is not long and it is only about a paragraph. Six sentences are enough for writing an abstract.
   8. How do we distinguish personification from derivation?
       a. The lower animal is spoken of or given abilities as if it were a person while derivation indicates the origin of a word.

IV. Independence

1.   What is denouement?
My reaction to this is that it is like a social issue because it tells about the people, feelings that happened in the story.
2. What is literature?
It is also another social issue because it lets people express their expressions, concepts and ideas.
3. Many nights thinking about you

It is a social issue because it still talks about the feelings of a person.
4. If a teen gets his girlfriend pregnant
It is a social issue because it involves the two feelings of a person in a certain relationship.
5. What is technical analysis?
My reaction to this is that I found out that my chosen articles are all about social issues and each of them totally speaks about person or society in general.

V. Unity
I can say that all my chosen articles have unity on the 1st paragraph because of  the literal approach of stating the introduction.

VI. Complexity
From my 1st article up to the last, the complicated statements are found in the middle of the article. In the first paragraph, it’s stated in a literary form and when it comes from the middle part, it’s more on evaluative level. It also involves the critical-thinking of the author.

VII. Suggested Improvement
Based on my reading of the chosen articles, so far I don’t have any comment. Meaning, it is very well-done by the publisher/author.

VIII. Conclusion
1. Ergo, knowing the denouement is essential so that we can directly distinguish the mode of the story as if it were ended happily or not.
2. Ergo, we should have an interest in literature because it is very important in teaching.
3. Ergo, we should not give totally our love to someone else in order for us not experience too much pain.
4. Ergo, knowing one’s responsibility is necessary for us to be preparing in our duties in life.
5. Ergo, technical analysis needs one’s creativity.
6. Ergo, personification tells us the inanimate objects
7. Ergo, Abstract should be done by six sentences only.
8. Ergo, to determine the difference, contrasting or contrast statement should be analyzed to come up with concrete examples.
