ReplyDeleteWhile schools traditionally focus on linguistics and mathematical or logical intelligences, it is theorized that there are, in fact, seven different types of intelligences: mathematical/logical, linguistic, musical, interpersonal, intrapersonal, spatial, and kinesthetic. Students who do not perform well in linguistic, mathematical, or logical contexts may nevertheless have remarkable talents in other types of intelligences. The theory of multiple intelligences suggests that individuals may be talented in multiple areas of intelligence.
(It only means that as an educator we must be flexible enough to give what is due to the learners,we should know different strategies so that we can apply the right method to the right learners.)
